Kaitlyn Borcherding
Case Manager-Outreach, Social Service Center
Kaitlyn is the Outreach Case Manager at Chicago Lights Social Service Center. During outreach, Kaitlyn teams up with volunteers and other staff members to bring resources, food, clothing, and toiletries to individuals experiencing homelessness in the area nearby Fourth Presbyterian Church. Before her time at Chicago Lights, Kaitlyn worked for Thresholds where she discovered her passion for helping individuals that struggle with their mental health or substance abuse. Kaitlyn also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from DePaul University in 2021.
