The Chicago Lights Board of Directors anticipates three openings for the next three-year term beginning in July of 2026. New Board members are selected through a thoughtful and competitive process that considers how an applicant’s experience, perspective, and skills align with the current needs and composition of the Board.

Chicago Lights is deeply committed to building a Board that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. We actively seek representation across age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, professional background, and lived experience, and we intentionally consider how each new member complements the strengths already present on the Board.

For the upcoming term, we are also particularly interested in a candidate who is a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church, has financial experience/fiscal oversite expertise, and is willing to serve as Board Treasurer at the start of their term.
